If you want to try a vintage dining experience in an old hut, this is one of the good places you can try in George Town heritage area. At the junction of Love Lane and  Muntri Street, here's where this restaurant is located.

Be it Bersih or no Bersih protest in Penang on 9th July, we were lucky to be invited to the exclusive event of Spice CSL DS700 Transformers phone road show at Queensbay Mall last Saturday. It is the world's first Transformers mobile phone by Spice CSL and Hasbro. The launching was in conjunction with the release of blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

It's somewhat hidden away from the other restaurants inside Straits Quay. We searched and walked round and round in Straits Quay before reaching the restaurant... perhaps we came from the marina side instead of the main entrance. If you're coming from the main entrance at Straits Court, look to your right, it's located at the first floor. If you're coming from the other side (Quay West), try to search for the Apple Switch store, it's across the walkway down the corridor.

I don't even have to wear yellow for Bersih. Bumblebee protests on behalf.

This new branch is a more proper chinese restaurant compared to the origin where it's with open air seating by the seaside of Teluk Kumbar.

a) Steam Grouper 石斑清蒸 （钓）- RM80/kg

This is an invited review by Foodtok.com to Santorini Cafe. Because of the name Santorini, I've always wanted to pay a visit to temporarily satisfy my desire of travelling to Greece... such a romantic name for a cafe. This was my first outing with the Penang top floggers (food bloggers)~ Super fun!! And this officiates Princess Cheryl as a member of Penang food blogger community. Yeah~~

Roadhouse Grill has been around for years but this is the first time we dine there. Probably because I've been a little too obsessed in doing food review around Penang. The bunch of food bloggers that I know of are driving the "uuhmph" in me to crave for more...which I'm quite worried at first -- putting on weight just before my wedding!!

But it seems like having our new home made me exercise so much intensively (1-2 hours of house chores almost daily for both of us, even more intensive than going to gym...). Seeing me slimming down so much actually drove my parents nuts, and they thought I was trying to go on diet. IN FACT I DID NOT mum... I eat even more nowadays... I'm not thin, just toned up.


You will find fascinating decoration with neon lights and a Cowboy figurine sitting right at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant concept is basically like dining in a Cowboy ranch..
