We were right in the middle of the sandstorm during break time of the competition. It came fast and went away fast too. Just lasted for 5 minutes. But it was quite scary, felt like Tornado coming...

Was it dangerous?
For those who has never been to a desert like us, it's really scary. We were having our refreshment at the poolside when suddenly the wind blew so strongly that you'd thought if Tornado is coming or so.. Another thing is our eyes and noses cannot withstand the sand+dust, only the dromedaries/camels can. We quickly hid indoor and my friends snapped these photos.
Wow! Seem very horrible! But I believe it is a good experience...
