Off we went for a short holiday again. This round we have 6 people, including my 82-year-old grandma and my little 21-month-old cheeky koala. It's another challenging trip having to travel with my grandma (Imagine boarding ferry and long-tail boat a few rounds with an 80+ senior citizen!! And yea we brought her out for the island hopping trip too~) but we've so used to running around everywhere with our oldest and youngest in the family, so it was considered a smooth one.
Most people would go through Pak Bara, but we prefer Langkawi. To save time and effort on booking separately, we threw the task to our regular use agent to settle it, in fact the price is almost the same but we just have to pack and go. And I only booked Langkawi hotels on my own.

hi
i'll be going there with my 2 months old baby on may.
is it safe riding a boat to koh lipe with my baby?
tq
May is already the start of low season (monsoon) whereby sea condition will be worse comparing to Nov-Apr. Sea waves might be rough and the journey takes around 1.5hours from Langkawi. Upon arrival at Koh Lipe there's no jetty but just a platform whereby you need to take another long tail boat ride to the shore.
I can't comment much because everybody handles their own kids differently, one kid differs from another... somehow if you ask me, I will not bring my 2 months old there because of convenience and health risk. We started off traveling with our girl during 4.5 months old and first destination was with flight to Taiwan whereby it's well known for baby friendly environment.
First time we brought our girl to Koh Lipe was when she's almost 10 months old, and we travelled during high season whereby the weather was good.
Hi Princess Cheryl,
I am planning to bring my 15 month boy to Koh Lipe this December. Which resort would you recommend?
I am wondering what to do besides chilling at the resort. Is it okay to bring baby for snorkelling trip? Appreciate if you could share your experience.
Thanks!
