Many travellers ask about possibility to buy ticket on the spot or maybe cheaper ticket price, the answer is yes and no. This is all depends on ferry seat availability, the ferry has only have about 100+ persons capacity and easily sold out especially during school holidays and public holidays in both countries (Malaysia/Thailand). You might be end up need to spend 1 more night in Langkawi / Koh Lipe if you cannot get the ticket on the spot. About the ticket price, well, you might get more expensive or cheaper depends on tour operator and seat availability. Even if you can get cheaper, it's about RM5-10 per way different. But you may risk having much headache and complication in case tickets are not available, so the advise is just book the ticket online to reserve your seat to this beautiful island.

You can refer to their website for the schedule & price details.
