Princess Cheryl's thought of the day:- I'm hoping so much that our 'mega project' in year 2011 will be successful! Right Wendy? =)
So here's another crazy long post (photos) about food. Yea, part of my travelog on the most recent trip to Hong Kong. Usually I don't survey much about food when I go travel, just follow the local crowd and there'll be where you can find good food!
Typical outlook of the local restaurant, they call it "char chan teng", direct translation means tea house.
Coincidently the hotel that we stayed gave 2 $20 coupons for food per room daily, valid only for that day after the date is stamped, but you can choose to collect one time deal or separate by day.
Soup of the day! My favorite lotus root soup.
I cannot recall all the dishes name like how I did in Macau (sorry la...), but the pictures are enough to tell you what they are and how delicious they are~
The must-not-miss Hong Kong milk tea!
Serve chilled.
Or hot.
Hong Kong Day at The Peak. Basically we just had Chinese food throughout the trip because the senior citizens preferred rice than pasta, and I was the only one who is not. Anyhow, I always love the "wonton" (dumpling soup in Hong Kong. It's super big size compare to what we have here.
Breakfast. Typical as what we always see in the Hong Kong drama.
Yummy-licious roasted pork and roasted duck. Beef, congee, and chicken... *Slurrp~*
Family affair. At Tseung Kwan O. Having dim sum with my grand uncle and grand aunt. I miss them...
My grand aunt.
My grand uncle.
Family.
We accidentally found this outlet at Causeway Bay. It's really really popular among the Pinoys!! Maybe the price is low yet the food is not bad, and the portion is really big too.
老火汤. I like! This was dinner, last dinner in Hong Kong. Finished up using the coupons provided by hotel. Had a scrumptious meal too. But prawn is really expensive in Hong Kong! Two for $70. (><")
莲藕饼
避风塘及中鸡翼
甜酸虾碌
Miscellaneous eateries in Hong Kong. =) I didn't get to snap the mango dessert of 许留山, next time, next time ok.
Roasted goose. 深井烧鹅
Roasted pork, roasted chicken... you name it!
Char siew (roasted pork)
Braised stuff. 卤味
Dim sum shops by the roadside.
Eggies (a type of puff). 鸡蛋仔
Snails!! 田螺
Herbal tea. Good for balancing up with the heaty food.
Well I'm still editing the photos taken in Madamme Tussaud's Wax Museum. Gonna take a while because I'm gonna post more than 80% of the wax figurines there! Good for those who hasn't get the chance to go in there eh~
