This was the trip where I said I DO. Exactly half a year ago, during my birthday, the start of a next phase in my life, soon will be the end of my bachelorhood.
Colmar Tropicale is a very nice place for short vacation, for rejuvenation, for a romantic getaway. There's not just a French Village, but also a Japanese Village. And also a botanical garden amidst the Japanese Village.
Located 3,500 feet above the sea, the Japanese Village is the first of its kind outside Japan. The garden was planned and designed by renowned Japanese architect, Mr Kaio Ariizumi and built by a team of 22 skilled craftsmen from Japan.
The koi pond.
The winding Japanese footpath to the waterfall.
Japanese Tea House.
A different view of the koi pond from the tea house.
You can rent a Kimono for photo shooting too.
Tatami Spa. Get a variety of pampering indulgences ranging from foot reflexology, manicure, pedicure to full body spa and massages here.
More koi... at the Botanical Garden.
We were here at Ryo Zan Tei, for tea time. A cozy Japanese restaurant amidst the tranquil Botanical Garden. According to reviews, this is the best dining place at Berjaya Hills.
There are indoor and outdoor seats. I like the outdoor seats with nice view over the Botanical Garden.
The couple. Enjoying the sounds of chirping birds while sipping the Green Tea.
Big eyes babe.
Sipping Japanese Green Tea at 2,700 - 3,500 feet above sea level.
My tea time treat! Just tea time, so we just wanted to have some light stuff while enjoying the tranquil environment in a cozy afternoon up on the hill top.
Tori Teriyaki Set. Good choice! RM30.00 a bit pricey though... just tea time.
